Job Objectives
To ensure smooth and efficient wafer sort operations through accurate equipment setup, timely issue resolution, and adherence to quality and safety standards, contributing to overall product yield, delivery performance, and operational excellence.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Operate and support wafer sort (electrical wafer test) operations to ensure product quality, yield, and on-time delivery
- Setup and maintain testers, probers, and probe cards, including alignment and calibration
- Perform basic troubleshooting and recovery of tester/prober issues; escalate complex issues to engineers when needed
- Support lot disposition activities
- Work closely with engineers, production and QA teams to support yield improvement and resolve equipment/process issues
- Follow SOPs, safety guidelines, and cleanroom protocols to maintain compliance and quality standards
Qualification
- Diploma in Mechatronics, Electronics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in semiconductor wafer sort/wafer probe with knowledge of wafer sort & probe process
- Ability to handle data reporting and documentation accurately
