Job Description
We are looking for a Wafer Sort QA Engineer that will be responsible for quality assurance activities within wafer sort and wafer probe operations. This role is focused on ensuring compliance with customer requirements, internal standards, and industry regulations while driving continuous improvements in yield and product quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and customers to resolve issues, manage audits, and uphold best-in-class quality performance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for quality assurance activities related to wafer sort and wafer probe processes
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, internal quality standards, and industry regulations
- Perform data analysis, yield monitoring, and drive corrective/preventive actions
- Work closely with engineering, process, and production teams to resolve issues and improve product quality
- Support customer audits, documentation reviews, and provide timely quality reports
Qualification
- Minimum 3 years working experience in semiconductor QA, preferably in wafer sort/wafer probe environment
- Strong knowledge of wafer sort & probe process flows, yield analysis, and defect mechanisms
- Ability to handle customer quality requirements, audits, and reporting
- Familiar with industry standards (ISO9001, IATF16949, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in using quality tools: SPC, FMEA, 8D, control plans
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in corrective/preventive actions
- Good communication and presentation skills to work with cross-functional teams and customers
