Test Development Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement test programs on specific ATE platforms.
- Development activities will include test specification analysis, test methodology development, and coding of test programs.
- Implementation activities include code debug, characterisation of the program with the device, optimisation and the final qualification and release.
- Work with our customers to introduce new products or increase output of high-volume products by developing better tests, enabling multi-site testing or optimising tests in the customers’ facilities.
- Your end-goal is to provide a superior test solution with test coverage that is debuggable, predictable, and repeatable.
- And if you have more than 5 years of experience, your additional role is to train and mentor junior engineers to ensure that the knowledge and expertise you built are passed over to the next generations.
Qualifications:
- BSEE/MSEE degree with 2-20 years’ experience in the semiconductor product or test development field.
- Ability to reverse engineer code to understand and decipher product specifications and test methods.
- Ability to understand, debug, modify and improve ATE test programs so knowledge in programming or developing on ATEs is needed. We work with all tester platforms so as long as you’ve driven a big-iron tester from old Tiger/Catalysts to the newer UltraFlexes/Wavescales, we want to hear from you!
- C++, Python or other scripting languages is a huge plus!
Test Development Intern
Responsibilities:

- BSEE/MSEE degree in Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Computer/Telecommunications), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.

- Addendum: We’ve trained up some experienced system validation engineers to be helluva good test development engineers so we believe that if you have very strong fundamentals in engineering, you could be a good candidate if you’re willing to learn.
Smart System Automation Engineer
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include system integration with IR4.0 software products which encompasses hands-on experience with software and hardware:
- Identify opportunities for automation within the manufacturing processes.
- Design and execute software solutions to automate manufacturing functionality including but not limited to equipment status monitoring, Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) tracking, machine reporting and alerts.
- Develop next generation software capabilities for manufacturing operations.
- Implement solutions involving databases, systems, networks, applications, hardware and software.
- Identify bugs and quality issues in development, service or manufacturing processes.
- Install applications and databases relevant to automation.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand how automation can improve workflow.
- Gather requirements from clients, customers or end-users to develop the best automation solutions.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering – Computer/Telecommunication or equivalent.
- 2 or more years of relevant experience in industry with a focus on system automation is preferred. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in working with MES and shop floor automation will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming such as C#, C++, Java, ASP.NET.
- Knowledge and experience of MS SQL database scripting.
- Familiarity with web-based programming and Internet Information Services.
- Knowledge of VB6, Perl and Python will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of SECS/GEM, VISA, SICL, SCPI or other equipment interface protocol will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in Linux OS will be an added advantage.
Test Operations Director
Responsibilities:
Summary
- Oversee and lead a performance driven test operations covering all teams and all functions.
- Responsible for the performance and sustainability of the people, equipment, processes and material within this operation.
- Drive quality and timely delivery of commits to our customers.
Operations
- Oversee day-to-day company operations.
- Plan, define and implement cost effective strategies, structures, and processes for the entire operations.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all phases of operations.
- Monitor performance KPIs to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions.
- Coordinate support and solutions among the different teams for operational related issues.
- Interview, hire and train the operations management team.
- Provide regular performance updates and mentoring to the senior leadership team to motivate and effectively lead their respective functional teams to handle the dynamic demand from our customers and to manage attrition.
- Manage the quarterly and annual budgeting process and P&L responsibilities.
Business
- Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding quality, delivery, productivity, yield and cost requirements.
- Develop business continuity plans or business recovery plans.
- Drive the profit and loss (P&L) of the business for the organisation.
Qualifications:
- BSEE/MSEE or related degree with more than 10 years’ experience in semiconductor test process and/or operations
Technology Educator
Responsibilities:
- Refine our existing technical training programs and fine-tune them based on client requirements
- Manage training schedules and classroom/online agendas
- Determine course content according to objectives
- Prepare new training material or refine existing ones (presentations, worksheets etc.)
- Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually
- Keep and report data on completed courses and lessons learnt to improve our material and delivery for continuous improvements
- Evaluate and track data of effectiveness of training programs
Requirements/Skills:
- Working experience in the semiconductor manufacturing field is a must
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor Component/System testing specifically in RF
- Degree in a relevant technical field (E&E Engineering/Computer Science/etc.)
- Have exemplary communication skills and comfortable with public speaking
- Experience as a technical trainer and/or technical training content creator
- TTT (Train-the-Trainer) Certification is an added advantage
